Optimum Health Resource Laboratories (OHR)

Established in 1999, our company was originally affiliated with an England-based food allergy testing laboratory.  At the end of 2004 we purchased the US operation and became our own solely-owned corporation.  Then, in 2006, we established our new name, Optimum Health Resource Laboratories (OHR).

According to John Kernohan, Director of
Optimum Health Resource Laboratories, "We are very excited about the new direction our company has taken this past year.  The name change is a reflection of this direction and of the products and services we provide to our patient and physician clients."

Each member of its management and technical staff individually has over 20 years of experience in allergy, immunology and/or IgG ELISA food intolerance testing.  Over the years, OHR has introduced a number of unique and one-of-a-kind immunoassays based on self-administered collection kits for food allergy, food intolerance (hidden or delayed food allergy), Celiac Disease, H.pylori and metabolic analysis.

Through a proprietary collection and dilution process, OHR's IgG ELISA Food Intolerance Test allows any individual to be screened for IgG-mediated (delayed) food allergy against 96 foods quickly and conveniently without the added expense and inconvenience of a phlebotomy (blood draw) service.

For Your Consideration

1). Optimum Health Resource Laboratories is a leading pioneer in the arena of food allergy testing and has helped thousands of people throughout the world.

2). Optimum Health Resource Laboratories came to international attention with its introduction of a simple kit that provides a convenient method to test for IgG-mediated food allergy.  A tiny "pin-prick" sample of blood is taken by using this unique kit, which is then sent to the laboratory for analysis.  The established Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique is used to identify an individual's IgG antibody reactions against 96 different, and commonly eaten, foods - including gluten, gliadin, casein & whey.

3). Optimum Health Resource Laboratories’ other finger-stick tests include screenings for Celiac Disease, IgE Immediate Allergy, Gluten Sensitivity, H.pylori and Metabolic Function.

Across Europe, North America and throughout the world, thousands of people have been helped by Optimum Health Resource Laboratories... and so can you!
